Post up some pics of the bushings as well. I am contemplating doing an axle swap on my truck and if I do, I think I will go with new bushings all the way around. Not sure whether to go with an OEM replacement or with the Polys....

I've gotten several energy suspension poly kits from amazon. Right stuff each time and free shipping. The last one came with a big tub of grease instead of the little squeeze tube. Put it excessively on literally every surface that touches another surface.

Just swapping axles to get 3.55's to try for a while. The truck is my DD and I don't tow really heavy so I don't really need the 4.10's. I would rather have a little better fuel economy. Besides, if I find that I have a hard time towing, I can always make more power right!?

I love my 3.55s but that doesn't mean much, however, Darin tows big with them and Travis and Rodney are pumping some good power through them as well.

I got Prothane bushings for my front springs and they fit well, Energy Suspension is good too. I'm happy with the poly bushings.

I like my 3.55's, don't need to worry about wrecking the gears or the motor as much, it's the trans or clutch you've gotta worry about if you're towing heavy or putting bigger tires on. If you are running stock tires or 33" and smaller 3.55's are great. If you're going bigger or tow really heavy I'd definately want 4.10's.

I'm sticking with 285's and I don't tow heavy too often, and now that my trans is built up I'm not worried about it as much.

These are energy suspension. Ill get some pics tommorow. Ups man was slow today so I've be hustling to put stuff together.

One thing on them is the metal sleeve has to come out of the springs. I made two cuts in it with a sawzall and they popped right out. Great quality product for sure

why do you get poly over the OEM rubber? is it a longevity thing? the rubber seems like a softer ride. and I would definitly do shocks if theyre needing to be done while you have it apart. its only an extra $120 or so. By the way how much to do spring and pivot bushings? oh and while you have it apart are you going to tap in a drain plug in the bottom? I dont get why they dont have them from the factory.

Longevity for sure. And I didn't really notice a worse ride than before.

I got an Energy Suspension front spring and shackle bushing kit for ~$60 and an Energy Suspension pivot bushing kit for ~$30 both on Amazon.

Poly bushings from JBG should be made by energy suspension. At least every bushing I ever got from them for my F-150 was from Energy. I got Energy bushings in both my trucks and am happy with them. I've also used Moog poly bushings before with good luck on 2wd radius arms.

120 for front back and pivot bushings shipped. Ill have pics tommorow. Need to get the computer out. I went with poly because I don't wanna do it again. I left the axle because of spring removal issues on the first bolt. So messed my schedule up

I cannot get the driver side spring lined back up with the axle. Had a hard enough time with the passenger side. I got the trans back in no problem. Took all of 10 minutes to get it stabbed. The in laws lift is awesome for trans work.

Any ideas on axle? Its like 1/2'' from the hole for the spring pin toward the engine. Should I drop the center back out?

I don't remember what I did when my 50 was out. I know it involved both wheels being off and trying a million different configurations of one hub up and down at different heights. And I believe I had the center bracket loose and ubolted it to the spring loosly as well then the center bolt back in and tighten the ubolts. I think...
