Edelbrock intake help
i bought a Edelbrock performer intake for my 400. it has a hole in the front of the manifold that is about a inch across with threads but i have no idea what screws in there i cant think of anything.Anyone know? the stock manifold that came off the motor doesn't even have it

i looked up an edelbrock 2171 on summit to see what your talking about... the frontmost hole is pretty good size appears to be in the water jacket so this would be a great place for a heater hose/temp sender/ or other bypass hose if you dont want it plug it off
