2000 F150 Changer Location

I am needing to know where the mounting location is for the 6 disc changer in the 2000 F-150's. A friend bought one off of the net and he stated that he cannot find any info in the manual about it. His puter is fried so I thought that I would get on

and see what I could find out. Any info is appreciated.

2000 F150 Changer Location

I would think under the driver seat would be ideal.

I am looking into getting a changer,and am about to run into the same problem. My F150 has power driver seat, so mounting under it is out of the question.

I would like to mount it in the center console - I have two captains chairs and the floor console. Does anyone know where I can get an insert that has openings for a changer? I saw this on a Lariat, but have not been able to find them anywhere.

2000 F150 Changer Location

My buddy has a 2000 Harley F150. The cd changer is located in the center console.

I dont know of any aftermarket companies selling a kit for the cd changer install in the console, you may have to go to the dealer for the insert, or custom job it.
