Ok, so I looked at the verocious site again. I used the braided flex couplers on mine, all braided stainless, not direction specific.
But the newer style 'bellow' flex joints are directional.
Good catch (whoever was initially asking).

My braided joints are pretty beefy, I'd definitely go with the bellows next time, much smaller profile.

Weather has been odd. Played 36 holes over the weekend at Oglebay over in Wheeling. Fri was 80 and gorgeous and sat was nasty, cold and raining which made for a long afternoon.

Can't wait to see the results on this Bill. Always good to have a cheaper/DIY version of mods!

I know how ya feel! I got mine today and I was 300 miles from home. But they came at 11:15 and I got home at 4:00. So it was prefect timing. Threw them on and I'm celebrating if ya know what I mean. Can't wait to see the pics.

Yeah, weather sucks here. Woke up this morning to 2" of snow!

I'm hoping the pipes turn out good. I'm anxious to get them going, but I'm gonna take my time and do it as right as I can.

I had looked at the braided ones at the parts store a while back and was considering using those, but thanks to bulla for hooking me up with the link for the bellows back when I started a thread on leaking up pipes, I decided then if I did this I would use those.
Read an article in my latest issue of Diesel Power mag and they were using your injector cup removal tool Jim. Pretty cool!

My bellows and my clutch came in today!!! I took some pics of the bellows to answer mine and Rich's question about flow direction. They are directional.

This is the inlet.....

This is the outlet....

...and this is the bellow slid on the end of the up pipe just so you can see how they fit. Perfect!

Thanks for posting the pics, it makes things a little more clear
they look nice and the fit looks good too. Good luck getting it all together.

What wire are you using to weld them or are you using a TIG?

I have a small gassless mig here at home that I use on exhaust pipe and body panels, but I don't know if I'll use it on these. I might tack everything up and take them to my buddy to get tig welded.

The reason I ask is they make a flux wire that will weld stainless. I'm going to make a t4 mount when ever I get time and I was looking into it a few weeks ago.
