heads

can any one tel me what head i got the number of it is 7B16 if that dont standīs than the number is 7BI6 i need to know what head i got please help

that # looks like the build date code. 7=year, b=2nd month(feb),16=day. there are some big letters on the bottom of the intake ports, this is the casting i.d. I beleieve all M/400 heads have 2.04/1.66 valves and 78.4cc chambers. 75 and later heads have restrictive exhaust ports.

February 16th 1977 is the casting date. Casting code should be something like D5AE or D5AZ
