Here's a stumper...

Just got this '94 F150 running...it sat for 4 years. While looking under the hood I noticed one of the red wires from the OBD connector had been cut...a nice, clean slice. Any idea why someone would do that? Also the wires to the cigarette lighter had be cut and taped. Again, what was the previous owner doing here? All comments welcome.

It sounds like the PO was electrically challenged!!!

Mabye they were trying to hook up a c/b or radio and wre looking for a constant power wire??? People do stupid thing sometimes.

ya that is a stumper. Who knows what was in the mind of the PO, maybe nothing!

Hopefully you have found all of the modded wiring and can move forward with a long troublefree usage of the truck!
