tiny trailer

I have a 2007 f-150 super cab fx4 with the 5.4. I'm towing a very small 5x8 trailer with 3 lawnmowers, best guess is 1200lbs. Should I turn off my over drive while towing or is the weight so small I shouldn't worry.

thanks,

I would base it on how the truck feels while driving. If you don't notice that the weight/trailer is back there, don't bother turning the od off. Others may disagree, but that is how I handle those situations

I turn it off whether the trailer is small or large and don't base it on how much weigh I am hauling.

thanks,
you are fine with the overdrive on with that little amount of weight on there. You just don't want your truck trying to stay in OD then downshifting back and forth, with that small trailer and that little weight, it wouldn't.
