This might be a stupid question but I´ll throw it out there anyway.
I was thinking about hooking up a T5 transmission to the old Y-block but as I am from sweden and I really like the old three on the tree. The stick shift are in almost every car in sweden. Therefor I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any of the T5:s that came with the possibility to hook it up with a linkage to the column????
Or if someone know how one kan build a kit to make it happen??
Or maybe someone have allready done it???
Interesting idea......the only possibility that comes to mind is the Astro van shifter. Astro's have the shifter re-located about 6 inches to the side. I have never studied this setup, but maybe it could be modified to accept linkage? Now you have me wondering too....
