Got my truck back this Sunday. I have been mocking up my fuel injection setup and getting ready to wire the truck and configure my fuel system to support the 5.0 EFI. After mock up then I will pull engine and paint frame, engine bay, engine...etc.etc
Whoa..that's weird...I was about to send you a PM on how the EFI project was going...what do you have for the upper intake? Forgive my salvage yard intelligence... that's about as far as it goes...
Not sure the differences in our truck years (mine's a 56), but interested in your tank relocation experience - like where you bought, how you will do your filler.

I will be using a modified stock intake. The upper was hitting my booster but I have cut the intake down and need to get it welded... Mock up gets to be fun sometimes...

Joe,
I purchased my tank from tanks inc. It is a modified mustang tank setup for fuel injection. They have regualr ones also. Yes I removed the rear crossmember but I will add back now that the tank is in place. Plans are to build my own wood bed with access panel to fill for gas and get to the pump if necessary in the future. The relocation is very straight forward.
