hey guys!...had a happy day yeaturday...got my engine set and lookin great...pictures kinda fuzzy not sure what's up with my camera...but take a look...these are the specifics...272YBlock ECZ 9425-B intake 41004V carb-converted 12V one wire alt-electronic points,flamethrower coil.of course I don't have the intake on as its being cleaned...

ive got a question why does the motor sit so low? me and my dad's 1950 f2's motor didnt sit that low
Well, it doesn't have the intake oe air cleaner yet...and its sitting on new stock mounts, below i attached a pic before i took the engine out, you can see how low it sits even with the air cleaner...maybe one of the oldtimers can be more tech...or even julie...
hmmmm, i guess it could be that the guy that had it before us put a 350 in it could he have made the mounts taller? i was young back when we had it i didnt know as much then

Could have been...I'm not positive, but I don't know if a 350 would even fit with the stock mounting plates...it would make sence your engine would sit hight due to clearence issue with the running gear
I love before and after pics. Take lots of pictures of the truck and the little one during the restoration, and 25 years from now when she is doing it again, she will have some before and afters!
i found a loweerd f1 and 1950 for 1500 bucks that the guy was turning into a rat rod runs and drives with a 454bb and a built 700r4 tranny do yall think its worht it?
