Finished paint.

Due to the twins, a eviction notice and general lack of time and money, I have been painting my truck one panel at a time can by can so I wanted to post a few pics now that it is finally done.

I would clear coat it but It'll just get scratched, I don't imagine it'll look that pretty for long but the truck was originally owned by san juan unified school district then sold to my grandfather and school bus yellow just wasn't gonna work =/. The interior was sprayed white along time ago so I left most of it, when I removed the rotten dash pad the top half of the dash was yellow with the bottom being white so that got sprayed blue aswell lol, I've only got $70 into the entire paint job.

Looks sharp. Good work. The supervisor cat is obviously waiting to christen it with a set of paw prints after the paint hardens.

That kittens only about 7 months old in that picture, shes about 2xs bigger then her sister so shes gonna be pretty big. Although they aren't fans of the exhaust they have yet to damage the truck, my dogs are a different story lol.

Ya I went with a satin finish, off the shelf krylon from wal-mart incase I ever need to fix it lol. We used the same brand/kind of paint on my brother in laws Rx-7 about 3 years ago and it's still holding up nicely so it should last awhile and keep it sealed up. Now I just gotta put a bedliner in, sand down the inner fenders and weld in some new floor panels.

I like how you blacked out some of the grille for a new look.

The only reason it looks like that is the plastic inserts chrome is wearing off, I didn't alter it to look like that it has done so on its own.
