New mirror solution

I've been less than satisfied with my mirrors for some time now, and have been looking for some West Coast Jr. type replacements. I usually prefer the stock factory look, but for my tastes and needs, the original West Coast Jr. mirrors stick out too far from the body.

I stumbled across a pair of these mirrors on a F100 bumpside donor in the salvage yard. They are factory units with the Fomoco logo, but the twist is that I believe they're correct for E100 applications according to my parts cd.

Here they are in as found condition:

And here again mounted on my truck after some polishing with the addition of some stainless steel hardware and replacement of the glass.

I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out. A vast improvement over the el cheepo car type mirrors with auxillary peep mirrors I had on ther before in my opinion. What do you think?

Looks Good! You will also like the substantially upgraded rear visibility.

Those look real sharp. They came in three different widths and stainless or painted. I run the real wide stainless with the third leg. Tom
