Tire balancing, no weights?

Tire balancing, no weights?
I had four new tires installed at America's Tire, just a few days ago. Today, I noticed that the two rear tires had no balancing weights. I did not get on the ground, to check if the weights were possibly mounted on the inside. Is it possible the tires balance OK without weights? Is it common, or perhaps they just forgot to balance them?

sometimes you get lucky and dont need weights, sometimes they are weighted on the inside of the rim, or inside the tire with powders or calcium.
and dont forget the tire installer error, installing the weight but not crimping it tight enough to withstand "real world" driving
if you dont have any vibrations you should be fine, but any little bit of shaking and i would return to the tire shop immediately
