A/C troubles

One day last week when we had some good weather around here I went to turn the A/C on and the clutch kept coming on and off, would is the cause of this? Now today I go to check it out and it doesnt turn on at all. I have checked the pressure and its all good. 98 Expedition 4.6

If pressures are good, I'd check the clutch cycling switch.
