Looking for 460 F3TE heads

I have a bad head on my 94 F350 with the 460 engine. I'm looking for a pair of heads that are rebuildable so I can just swap the heads on my truck in a day. I'm in Leesburg VA and can drive a reasonable distance or pay for shipping. Thanks.... Mark.

What's wrong with yours now.
You should be able to find heads at a junkyard locally I'd assume. I've gone to where the junkers cut up and prep their junk before going to scrap yard and picked a lot of parts before they were scrapped.
I've got a brand new set of heads and another set of rebuilt heads.... But they are in Maine and I'm in PA. Sorry.

I have one good head, and one that cracked (more like crumbled) around all the exhaust manifold bolt holes. The one head completed rusted away around all the exhaust ports, just not salvagable. I've called several yards nearby and none have any EFI 460's. I'm hoping someone has a nice set they swapped out by putting carb heads on their EFI to run a big carb/cam combo.

Haha. I know what you mean on the crumbled and broken exhaust ports. My 95 is like that. Big chunk broke off mine and I remade it with weld.... But now the manifold is part of the head as well.
Good luck finding a set. They are out there but you gotta hunt.

Got a complete 460 out of my 93 F-250, ran well, replaced with a new 96 spec engine I got a few years ago. Engine has 200k miles, didn't smoke or use much oil, quart in 3,000 miles. Did a complete restoration on the truck and had the new mill on hand, only reason it came out. 300 bucks for engine, won't find a better builder. Mike 414 303 7079

460

Nope, into the scrap dumpster, non of the rebuilders were interested so away it went. Same deal with a lot of 3208 Cat parts I have, turbo engines mind you, still haven't scrapped them,,,,yet.
