Manual transmission code ID problem - anyone?
Yo!
Anyone have an idea what this transmission might be? No photos, guy is selling it and gave me the numbers as follows:
BFE4 TR7008 AA
C 280 4877
F2C 84819.3
Says it's a top-shifting 4 speed, and he believes it has a low 1st gear. Aluminum case.
Came off a 302 and was going to go behind a 300, but he changed his mind and it's been sitting in his shop for 12 years.
Anyone?
Thanks! Cheers!

The only all aluminum 4 speeds are the 4 speed OD transmissions. No low first gears there. There are side shifted and "SROD" models with the shifter on a turret on behind the top cover on the driver side. SROD and top shift models have aluminum cases. The side shifted units are iron.
An NP435 is going to have NP cast into it somewhere.
