Final Decisions on new SD
Okay! The decisions are made, thanks to all of you for your invaluable input!
I respect the opinions of those who posted. What I did decide upon was the Split Bench seating, the standard issue CD/Cassette player, manual TC shifter, the auto tranny w/PTO provision although I may never use the PTO, I wanted the assurance of a strong tranny as suggested by Mark II.
I'm going with the V-10 (what the hell, mileage is going to be poor no matter what engine you run). Now its time to place the order. Just waiting to see what the next level of incentives will be. The dealer will let me know right away Monday. The best darn thing I did though, was to purchase this rig under the X-Plan! I don't think I could do any better than that unless I was buying off the lot.
I'll let you know when I receive my New F-250 XLT in about 6-8 weeks.

Congrats on ordering your truck. It sounds great, you will love the Super Duty!!! I think you will be happy with your decisions. I love my split bench and I too have the single CD player and I am really into music. You won't miss anything with that unit. I thought that I would never use my reverse aid sensors, but I really do, they are handy!
You are correct on the mpg assessment, these trucks don't get good mpg anyway. Having more power never hurts, too little does. The V10 is a great motor!
Good luck on the incentives and I hope Ford delivers your truck in a reasonable time frame. Congrats again!!!
