Scangauge II users...Q's?

Scangauge II users...Q's?
Quick question, I got a $100 visa or whatever gift check for Christmas from my in-laws and I have trying to figure out what the heck to do with it....anyways light bulb went off today as I noticed that autozone had scangauge II's in stock...how do I tell if it is x-gauge enabled so I can code it for my 7.3? TIA!

The firmware update which includes the x-gauge function was implemented maybe 3-4 years ago. At that time I bought a second one and sent the first one in for upgrade.
I'd be extremely surprised if there were any for sale today with the pre-xgauge firmware.
Here is some info on the most recent firmware and upgrade: Upgrade : Linear Logic - Home of the ScanGauge
This will show you how to see the firmware version then you can check with the manf. Or open the box and see if the instructions include an x-gauge programming section.
I'd be extremely surprised if there were any for sale today with the pre-xgauge firmware.
