TFT sensor = Transmission Fluid Temperature sensor
The OP likely has a P0710 or P0713 TFT sensor ciruit open code set. If this is the case, the transmission fluid temperature gauge likely dropped out and illuminated the "Check Gauges" light as well. This is a pretty common thing to happen for model years between late 2004 and early 2005.
My bad. The OP never stated anything about a FLASHING Tow/Haul indicator, just a Tow/Haul indicator that won't shut off. More than likely a stuck Tow/Haul control switch, although I've never personally come across one.
I to love women with big boobies , and also love cold beer ,will change out the TFT sensor and hope that does it. THANKS
I don't think you TFT sensor is the cause of your problem by what you describe. Since you indicate the Tow/Haul indicator remains illuminated even when you press the button, I would be more inclined to believe you have a problem with the switch itself. Since I've never had to replace one personally, I wouldn't know if you can get just the button itself or if would have to buy the whole shifter lever to change it out, but I'm pretty sure that you would have to buy the whole lever if I know Ford. In any event, it would be a better idea to pinpoint the cause of your issue before you begin just changing out parts needlessly.
Mine does a similar thing my tow haul does not work unless i tilt the steering wheel down and move the shift lever , then to cut it off i have to put in park and cut off motor and then restart then tow haul is off. Also if i put shift lever to 1 gear it pops the fuse that controls the dash . There is a short in the shift lever the wires that control the tow haul, your problem will get worse if you tilt the steering wheel a lot.
6.0 F250 4x4 05 Harley my tow haul light on won`t turn off

Both of you have the same problem. The wires to the tow/haul button and light have worn through in the steering column and are shorting.
Take the plastic cover off of the steering column. The screws are on the bottom. Inspect the wires where they enter the shift handle. Either fix the wires or get a new handle from a dealer.
Im just curious if this worked. I have an 05, and the tow haul wont come on. I just bought the truck and dont know when it worked last. I had the cover off and pulled off the key in wire and did a little checking around and the tow/haul wires looked ok. But I will check again tmr, I didnt look where they go into the handle, I just looked at where they run along the column

I finally find one that I know and reading down through I think I have a shot at answering it and then................

I have never found one where the wires were damaged where they run along the column. They all break or wear through right where they enter the shift handle.
