Is anyone else sick to death of tattoos? I have one and actually still don't mind it after 19 years, but it's gotten to the point that I'll actually not root for a UFC fighter because he has his name across his back like a hockey jersey.
It's like Harley Davidsons. They used to stand for individuality, but if you want to be like every other obnoxious jacka$$ flying down the street at 120db, get a Harley.
There are no faster ways to get lost in a crowd - tattoos and Harleys.
i am not sick of tattoos or harleys! lol i love both..however getting your named tattoo on you is really dumb in my book.. what did you forget your name? and also riding that fast on a bike is just ensuring you will meet you maker sooner than you may like

thats funny cause the guys i been seeing lately i wouldnt wanna ride with that ride harleys, look like clip on pony tail wearing dentists.
I really don't care if someone wants to decorate themselves with a tattoo or not. But Harley's are getting to be so popular that the sound is starting to get on my nerves just the way the "ricers" fart cans do.
i really think the image harley had years ago with the tuff guy rider, is the rider of todays import bikes, ive met more outlaws on ricers then harleys, sad to say.
I have 2 tattoos that I got while I was in the Navy. My first cycle was a Honda. I have had Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Harley. Right now I have 2 Harleys and a Suzuki. But I am looking for a Honda trike. Arthritis is getting bad. I don't really care what people ride. I like to see women with a tattoo. And it is a plus if they like cycles. Actually it is better if they have their own. I would rather ride solo.
Times have changed and the youth of today have adopted their own versions of individuality---oddly enough they do fade into one big mass of protoplasm with so many look-alike trendy affections they latch onto. Add in the deluded few old timers maybe wanting to appear youthful too who follow suit and we've got soccer mom's grand parents and everyone else in between with some sort of publicly visible tattoo. Were it legal I'd bet more than a few toddlers would be sporting them too!
FWIW "tramp stamp" will probably enter the American lexicon or dictionaries (if it hasn't already) as applied to women with that (to me) unfortunate branding thought to be so hip, cool and renegade just a few years past.
Tatts that have true meaning like military duty are just fine in my book----I get that and fully appreciate them. Maybe its odd they're not always visible like neck, hand or facial tatts, meant to be displayed in the right situations with the right people. Then again Dave Navarro has never served in the military yet has a tattoo inspired by a a holocaust survivor--it simply says: "I have one too........" Its a heart rendering story if anyone cares to Google search it.
Harley's? I'm not tired of them but I don't want to afford one and would never ride on city streets my own self. They've become status symbols due their high prices and panache that so many mabye try to assume by simple ownership of something---perhaps some of them are also longing for their glory days too?
I'm not a huge bike fan but being from the huge horsepower V8 motor ages nothing sounds quite as nice as a V-Twin at any speed!
