Theft flashing rapidly means the extra key under the dash with the bypass module is bumped out of place or the module is not telling the system that the key is there.

Where do I find this extra key under the dash, or the module?

I did find out that the remote start was a dealer add on.

Depends on how the system works. Look under the dash, should be a smaller black box with the systems I have used. Inside there will be an key. This is what the truck is reading allowing the truck to remote start without a key. Do you have a picture of the stock system?

Ok, last night I went outside to the truck and I found the small black box. I went ahead and unplug the connection for 5 mins or so. I plugged it back in and I tried starting the with the remote and it started! I'm glad it was a easy fix. Thank you for keeping me on about the key module, I wish I knew this about 2 years ago. Thanks for your help!!!

Glad it worked out for you. If it’s the type where there is an actual key inside sometimes if they get bumped it will make it go a bit crazy.

Actually, inside the box there was melted plastic that they used to cover the circuit board, but there was no key.
