That would definately be nice! But the truck only sees 500-1000 miles a year. Used mainly for plowing snow and hauling a load of rock or dirt here or there. Kinda sad with only 75k on the odo, but the first owner never thought much of washing off the salt after plowing. The rot and rust is the main reason I sold it to him and bought my 2011

If the truck only sees that much action a yr and the upps aren't leaking, I personally wouldn't mess with them. They can be a royal PITA.

Not too long ago I saw a thread here where theres a website that sells only the bellows for a whole crapload cheaper than clays bellowed up pipes. your friend would need to know how to handle a TIG torch though.

I'm gonna order some of those soon and build a set of up pipes with them and see how they work.

Thanks for the replies guys! I looked at them before taking the truck back and they don't appear to be leaking so were going to plan on reusing them. IIRC the origonal owner cut the bolts with a torch when pulling the motor to do the oil pan. Just had it stuck in my head to replace uppies with the manifolds?
