Oh ya. Lucked out. The kid at the metal shop watched me pull up and asked "you interested in a black toolbox?". Of course I replied "Hell ya!". Gave him $56 bucks and my toolbox for his low pro black one. I like it! Now I just need to ask him if he has the key haha. Forgot that part. Handles are chrome though. If I bought a whole new black handle set I suppose it would come with a key huh?

My truck is getting closer and closer to having no chrome.

Do you still have the stock ford grill?

I have this grill, poor pic, I'll get a better one:

and am looking to buy / trade to stock. I like what you crafted yourself, that looks pretty awesome so I understand if you're happy as is.

Great lookin truck, thanks for posting all the pictures.

I'll trade you for my stock one no problem. It's clean and in really good shape. The inside and honey comb things are painted black and it looks really good I think. I'll PM you my number.

Here are some pics of what i did with it. It would look really good with that color of truck if you ask me.

Before

After

I put this expanded metal that is cut perfectly to fit in right behind the grill. It easily zip ties tot those two posts and the stock grill covers where it is attached. That keeps the birds or big bugs out of my air ram tube. It is painted black and looks good behind the stock grill. I still have it and can include it with the grille if you'd like.

Well, the UPS site said that the package was damaged in shipping, so I feared the worst. However, turns out everything was packed up great, and fit right on the truck with no issues. Thanks a bunch!

That looks good! And thank you!

Ya I went a little overboard on the tape and packaging. But hey, better safe than sorry.

Dude absolutely sweet truck! That black and green look is bad a$$!!!!!!!!

Well done man, I still like the look of the chrome bumpers. Are you going to line-x them or a similar rubber coating? Or just paint them black?

Once again looks awesome man

Thanks! I appreciate it. I love the colors too. I am going to either line-x them with along with the rocker panels from the door line down and the fender curves as well. Either that or I am looking into some poly-eurea coating that a family member is getting sprayed on the bottom of his boat (water proof and puncture resistant up to 3500 psi). Crazy stuff. A buddy of his is going to spray it for him and he doesn't care what color it is so if he doesn't mind doing black then I will hop on that and get my truck sprayed. I thought about plasti dipping them as well but I am going to wait and see about the other coatings first.
