cab over camper question.
im looking to buy one of those cab over in the bed type camper deals, but my truck does not have the needed hardware. i was woundering if anyone here could help me. i would like to know what i would need to get or do to make it legal and safe to haul one of these.
i have a 68 f100 custom cab, if that helps any.

coda, Many things can come into play. I don't know your states regs or laws. Since you are hauling it in the bed of the truck there should be nothing illegal with hauling it. The weight of the unit could make it unsafe in a half ton. Most campers were hauled in 250s. Do you know the weight of the unit?
I would imagine that it would be easy to provide wiring to the unit. Don't know if they all require the same wiring.
Check the units weight first. I would be OK with a couple thousand pounds if you have good tires.
