In the market for a new carb for my 1951 239 flathead V8. The original has began to leak very badly.
Anyone have an estimated cost or some good places to shop for one? OR does anyone have one for sale? Not real worried about which one it is at the moment just need one so it'll run until I can do a solid rebuild.
Lots of people rebuild the Holley 94. Edlebrock also just started re'poping them new. If you need a good rebuilder I highly suggest Joe Smith Early ford in Richmond, Va he did mine and a great job. They are easy to ship since they aren't that big. I could pm you his info if your interested.
Well I really need a replacement, the bowl on this one has warped and has leaked for years but recently has become to far gone... Granted some of it would still be useable but not as is. So I think I'll just go the parts store route for now until I start on a 2 or 3 carb setup.
Thank you tho

You might want to look at Vintage Speed. Charlie does a really nice job restoring old carbs. They look and function better than new in my opinion.
