[QUOTE='86 F150;12875681]I few I saw this past summer.
This one was at the woodward dream cruise in Detroit MI

Anybody know the paint code for this step side? Looks like the color of my old 79F350. My friends could never figure out if it was brown or red.

I have no clue what the name of it is but there was a truck around here that just sold that was the same color! I love it. It almost looks like House of Kolor's Burgundy or Brandywine.

Look here House of Kolor Speedshapes - Preperation & Undercoat

just some redneck body work on it to fix the rust wholes in the bed, probaby gonna try some type of expanda foam (the great stuff) and then shave it and bondo over it then throw a coat of paint over the whole thing probably gonna just go with a neutral color like gray or white cause im not gonna really touch the interior. i just want it to look decent from the outside

then im just gonna drive it for a year or so as a daily i live 15 min from work on gravel and dont feel like taking the mustang everywhere and since i farm i dont wanna have to get into after working all day and being nasty/dirty, also the truck will get used alot in winter since the mustang sucks in the snow. other than that it will probably just be a dont care truck, no plans to restore it as of now and plan on getting another truck in a couple years like a superduty diesel.

I see, just something to do work in, usually those trucks are tough as nails! After you get your diesel you should build it into a mud toy!

thats the plan lol ive always wanted a tractor tire/rockwell truck maybe it will happen

the car will be mostly done after i supercharge it and be at about 400rwhp ill be mostly happy with it and fix the front bumper and interior

the diesel when i get it will proabbly be a 6.slow and end up with head studs egr delete, turbo back exhaust and a tunner, leveling kit and wheels

These trucks are amazing. Timeless comes to mind. For me this thread was all about the paint schemes, I will hopefully have new paint on mine sometime within the next year. Almost didn't make it past page 19 because some clown slid in a chebby. A couple stuck out. There's a brown 250 on page 5 in San Carlos, author tabbed rare sighting. Can anyone guess a year on that rig? And a similar red 250 on page 30 I think. Both look similar to mine, and I think both are Highboy's, but I could be wrong. But they're all sweet. I still see dents all the time in Montana, but they're fewer these days. And I'm not a big fan posting other people's property online. But great thread, I should have some images up soon on mine when I get her rolling. Hopefully sooner than later.
