For my stock exhaust, that is. I took my daughter to the pulmonologist today (just some routine stuff, no worries), and what do I find propped up be the front door when I get home?
Oooooo, daddy likey.
5" straight back? Yes it is, thanks for asking. Killer price and free shipping? Yes it was. P.m. me for details if you are curious, wanna respect the site sponsors since it wasn't through one of them.
Definitely gonna have some nut to it now. I will grab some video of it and post. Also, I know its a simple install, but I will post a few pics of that too.
I love my DE 5", but there's a few pieces in there i dont recognize. But I did get a tymar dp instead of the DE one, so that probably changed some stuff.
Did you keep the behind the wheel exit? If so, how did you? I can't quite get it to line up right for that, but I can set it up to exit in front of the wheel pretty easily. I just worry about the noise that way.

I did a 3" DP to 4" straight pipe and turned it out in front of the wheel, I don't think it's too noisy, sounds pretty good.

Yup it looks like this, except I adjusted it a little to get the tip up higher. It also took a bit of time adjusting the pipes to get it lined up where i wanted. You have to just twist and pull and push every pipe, the main one is the curved pipe going over the axle. Thats the one that you have to adjust the most.
I have read on these very forums about people hearing about fitment issues with the diamond eye kits. not sure how true that is but you seem to have these issues. with that in mind I ordered the MBRP 4" stainless kit from Clay. I wanted the stock fit on mine. hope I have better luck with mbrp.
Yeah, there is a new dp but its what I have on there now so I will probably just sell it.
Bill, I like the idea of having it in front of the wheel but I just had my head up my *** while I was mocking it up, on account of my cold, looks like it will all line up pretty good, I just need to tighten her down now.
Ken, see above, but you never know, once I start tightening up o may run into an issue, bit it looks like it will be a-ok. I will keep you posted. Hopefully your 4 will be a little less tricky than my 5.
