A/C Problems.

Hey my A/C stopped blowing, It still blows(cold air) a bit when I'm driving down the interstate.
Do ya'll think its the blower motor? If so how hard is it to change yourself?

Pull over, turn vehicle off and then back on. If it doesn't come back on then you have a different issue than I did. Mine just turns off for no reason. I have to reset something and then it turns back on. Usually happens when its hot. Damn computer controlled fan/radio/lights etc. etc.

Mine stopped blowing period. Even if I turn the truck on and of it stays off the compressor still gets cold, but it does not want to blow.

That sucks. I had hoped you experienced the same blower issue I did.

I don't know the answer to how to access the blower motor, but would bet the rest of the system is good if the compressor clutch still kicks in. Of course, with these new computerized systems . . .

You too huh?? I have the same ghost in my truck since the beginning. Dealer replaced the EATC 3 times. It still does it now but not as often. I have left it on auto mode. In the past I used the vent control settings and it happened more often.

Sounds like the AC is working but the blower motor is not, blower fuse maybe? Just a guess.

I've been researching the blower issues on my truck, I read in a few places that the blower motor resistor tends to go out. I know how to get to it but I've failed to come up with resistor failure symptoms, So I'm asking ya'll if anyone knows common symptoms of resistor failure? also anyone happen to have a fuse box layout diagram on the 6.4L? so i can check the blower fuse.

There's a fuse diagram in your operator's manual.

Need AC help

My AC blows cold on the passenger side but it isnt that cold at all on the two driver side vents. The same thing happens when it's cold out side and I turn it on as hot as it can go the passenger side will blow warm but the driver side never really gets as hot as the passenger side. Anyone know what might be causing this?
