V vs. X Code Fronts for 7.3 PSD

Hi all,

The suspension on my X sucks so I've been doing some homework on what to replace it with. My old X (also a 7.3) had stock springs, Bilsteins, and a Hellwig rear bar. I was happy with that, but on this one I want a lift and larger wheels/tires.

I've pretty much decided to go with V or X codes up front and modified B's in back with a 4.5" Icon hanger lift. I think this will give me the look I want, clear the tires (likely 33s, maybe 35s), and still tow well.

I understand that the X fronts were for trucks with a snow plow package. Is there a spring spec change for a 7.3 PSD vs a V-10? If not a factory spec change, have "we" discovered a spring that works better for the 7.3?

Thanks,

Chris
