I have a F-250 2001 7.3 Power Stroke Diesel and I would like to know if there is a way to program my truck's computer to increase HP and Torque without having to get it to someone (mechanic), a way I can do it home or something to avoid paying 500.00$ for it. If somebody can help me I would really appreciate it.
Welcome to FTE. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for. If you're absolutely set on a very cheap way to bump up the power some, search here for th"10k mod". It involves putting a sensor in the ICP wiring to fool the computer and increase power.
It does have a tendency to cause a rough idle, and the increase in power is nowhere near what you will get from a custom tuner for a few hundred dollars, but at least it's a noticeable difference.

Thank you for your help. I got another question.. do you know anything about this products:
At that price you go get a Phoenix chip from Power Hungry Performance. Or a little more like said above DPTuner.
What you really need to determine is what you will use it for. You could get by with a custom burned PCM for under $100 from DP if you wanted Cheap.

Thank you. One last question to decide.. which one of all those you mentioned is better? I want to increase mainly the HP, TORQUE and if its possible FUEL ECONOMY.
Your choice, call and talk to any of the custom tuners, and decide who you like, DP Tuner is a sponsor on this forum, and they have great customer service. Others would be Swamps Diesel, Power Hungry PerformanceGearhead Automotive, Tyrant Diesel, Brian's Truck Shop, Diesel Innovations, I'm sure I missed a few. Some will compare tuning like this...Off the shelf or canned tunes, like you posted, are like a nice suit. Custom Tunes can be as extreme as hand tailored suit on your every measurement. For stock(ish) trucks they all work ok, but if you get PMS(Powerstroke Modification Syndrome) using a custom tuner will be easier as through phone calls or emails, sending chips back, you can have your modifications changed on the tunes as you modify.
Good luck on which one is best...... There all good. Like stated above you can pick the tunes you want from DP Tuner so you dont pay for more than you want or need. They will without a doubt bump power up enough to make you smile evertime you get on it. If you dont have them you should have gauges before you tune! Fuel econmy is hit and miss, you wont be mad if you dont get any mpgs outta your investment because the truck will be SO MUCH MORE FUN to drive
