Horse power and torque
I was looking at an international powerstroke timeline and it looks like in 2001 the went to the higher horse and tq engines by computer programming is it possible to change mine to be that way ?? To get some more power

You are better off to get a tuner as mentioned above. The other route you can go is to send your PCM to DP-Tuner. They can change the tune on it for a more subtle change or something wild if you don't want go the chip route.

You have the best tuning hardware in your truck right now, you can send that TS chip to one of 8-10 different tuners to get some better tunes, however even with the best tuning the stock injectors are only capable of about 300hp to the rear wheels.
