I never thought I would see someone completely destroy a slick.
But this did. This is being sold on ebay item # 290692488418 you need to see this to believe it. And if this is yours I am not apologizing for posting this monstrosity. In fact you should be banned from reproducing or getting close to any shop tools or....
I don't understand why someone would go through all that trouble. Even if i wasn't an old truck fan, it isn't done very well and there is no collector value, nor is there any value to anyone else in this universe.
The owner should be paying someone to take it and destroy that piece-o-crap. Nothing there worth salvaging and he couldn't even get the year right. What a ******

This truck is hideous, but so what? They aren't rare, there are 10's of 1000's still available. So, just because one was ruined, doesn't mean there ain't another.
How many members of this forum haven't modded their truck from the original in one form or another?
How many of y'all's trucks are really worth anything?
These trucks have limited market appeal, are money pits, the economy sucks, gas is fast approaching 5 bucks a gallon, so they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them.
I am a near purist when it comes to all things old, but would it have killed this guy to have broken out some Armour All before he took the lousy pictures? I don't know where he thinks the market is for this!! This is one persons vision taken so far down a path that it would cost the most extreme Dark Sider $30K more to get their dream installed in this truck. (No offense to the Modifier AKA Dark Siders intended.) It is to far down one mans path to recover. A shame he can't complete his vision, but no one will want this thing he has created.

Don't forget, there's an *** for every seat and a seat for every ***. So, someone will buy this thing...hideous as it is.
And lawd help whoever it is, if he/she shows up here!
WOW,,, my eyes, my eyes as I run screaming from the keyboard to the eye-wash station!!!
aside from it being a nasty-rust-bucket that would be scrunched anyways,, a poor truck just shouldn't have to be put through that!! That would be almost as bad as making Numbers (BILL) drive a Chevy for a week and not listen to "she who must be obeyed while driving it!" imagine the fall-out,,, oh the horrors and atrocities these sickos commit,,,,
A person can do what they want to their truck is a given. However, to turn around and then try to sell a monstrosity like that is another thing. Now I start to wonder what is true and what isn't. He has $30,000 invested? Are you freaking nuts or just shinning us on with talk especially since your BIN is $4800? Why no mention about all the rust bubbling out from under the paint which is clearly visible and you sunk money, any money, into this?
I'll take the wheels and rear. Not even the tires are worth much. They're bald as a baby's butt. Everything else is just scrap. Maybe the fiberglass tilt front end could end up on a nice unibody, but that's about all I see. The rest is scrap metal. $4,800 is alot to pay for wheels, a rear, and a 'glass nose.

Bill, granted a lot of us have modded our trucks in one way or another but the mod's are tastefully done. At least members here know "It's your truck do with it what you will" but at the same time, I believe anyone of us who would do such a crime to a slick would not try to sell this on ebay. Nor would we brag about it. I think I speak for most here, to say if we ever did this to a slick and it looked like that, we would take it out to the back forty and put it out of it's misery.
My truck might not be worth anything, but I drive it proudly and I'm not ashamed of it.
