Straight pipe

Hey guys I straight piped my truck. I love the sound but it seems slower...?

It may need to re-learn... Back pressure and egt changed.

How long does a relearn take? It does it on its own?

If it seems slower it may be but I am pretty sure it does not go though a relearn process. Mine has the same thing done and i could not really say its any faster but sure does sound bad ****.

Yea, the relearn may be the wrong term, but the data used by the PCM has undoubtedly changed a bit. I imagine it'll just make corrections as you drive, but I can't imagine it's actually slower... Is it a "feel" thing, or spedo?
