lets see who has the right answer to this problem.
I just did the SAS in my truck and now there is a slight vibration coming through the steering wheel from 15-25mph only. I greased all the links in the steering. all the bushings are new. And everything is torqued down where it needs to be.
I'm not sure where to look next. The gear box is a old and probably worn out so maybe there? maybe something in the hubs? or the pumpkin?
Tires are all balanced, or they should be. They might need to be rebalanced just to make double sure.
That wouldn't make it vibrate just through those speeds. Would it? I always assumed, because I have never run my truck with unbalanced tires, that it would do it at al times
the harmonics of unbalanced tires are weird.
i had a set that would only vibrate under 25 mph, and another set that would only produce a vibration over 80.
the super swampers i had on one truck would only vibrate between 50 and 55. once balanced properly it went away on all three vehicles.
