Retro Sun Visor

My sweet wife Karen ordered me a retro Sun Visor for the KR for my birthday. Well it finaly arrived yesterday & now all I have to do is get it installed, talked to Wayne up at Felders Pro Shop in McComb & I'm thinking we will get it installed tomorrow, I'm really looking forward to getting it put on and when we get finished I'll post some pics to share with y'all.

All right, let me be the first to ask where did she find it?

Looks awsome!

Are the cap lights on your roof or on the fulton visor?

Tragedy averted.........

When you said retro sun visor, this is what poped into my head.
Was wondering about the "get it installed part"........

I like it!

Looks great! Do you happen to have a sunroof? If you do did they modify it? I like those "retro" visors but the ones I've seen attach right in the center of your sunroof if you have one. The new solar visors work but are dwarfed on these big ole trucks

I had one on both my 01 Dodge and 98 Dodge. Haven't seem them in a while. Looks good though! Lund used to make 2-3 different ones...

[ Hey Guys, thanks for all the replys and interest, I had been wanting this for a long time and it was a nice suprise when my wife got it for me, when she ordered it the order form asked all of the usual questions , like, do you have a sun roof(we do), do you have cab lights(we do) and a few other things, we had to get the factory paint code and it was painted before it was shipped, ( perfect match) and all the mounting hardware came with it, I'm not mechanical at all, so I took it to Felders Pro Shop in McComb , MS, they did an excellant job of installing & charged me 2 hours labor ($128.00) ) which I was happy to pay [/I]

Just did a little poking. Looks like Lund was bought up a few years back and the company that bought them, dropped the visors from the lineup. They used to do the sunvisor, the solarvisor, and the lunarvisor. Summit Racing makes their own but aren't very nice IMHO. So, it appears your wife bought the best one on the market that's still being made, the STK. Here are a couple of links for those interested.

STK's site: STK Website: Pro Visor Sun Visors

And where to buy it painted or not... Truck Visors | Truck Sun Visors | Cab Visors | STK ProVisor Truck Sunvisor

It looks like even though STK makes three different Superduty units, they only carry the 12170 at Buy Auto Truck Accessories, which fits every possible configuration. I think I'll show your pics to the queen bee and see if I get approval.

I believe Keystone is now making some of the Lund parts.
