Got my 1st CEL
This weekend I got my first check engine light. Woohoo
I went into the engineering mode on the LCD screen and it informed me of no active dtc's. Went into the radio (long shot) to check for codes and nothing popped up. I tried to remember if I had driven over any brush that might have ripped some wires out? Just some slow driving on the beach in some soft sand.
I crawled underneath and did a visual inspection... Nothing. While I was there I drained the "water trap". Still nothing.
Dropped by the dealer and made an appointment. First available was Thursday(tomorrow). Stopped by my diesel shop to run the codes. Booked till noon.
Today I ran into a friend that had an older code reader and got: P249? (didn't read last didgit)
I looked it up in the tech folder and I'm thinking it is the injector for the def.
Any one have any suggestions/experience with a similar problem?
