Deleting my key???

Mykey option doesnt appear
I still cannot the my key setting off. I bought the truck used and only got one key. When I got the truck, no my key setting was active. After the dealership worked on my truck, a mykey setting was active. I went in yesterday and one of the advisors said I would have to bring it in next week. I said I want it back the way it was before I brought it here with no my key setting. He said they may have to cut and program a new key. I am not willing to pay for that since I did not request mykey setting and they are the ones who turned it on.
Am I right it wrong by demanding the my key setting to come off wether it cost the dealership money or not?

Clearing my keys without admin keys
I must not have the admin key. I was only given one key when I bought this truck. The settings tab does not give me an option to access "mykey". Like I mentioned above, last time I brought it in for service, they some how programed it to a mykey setting. Is the dealer the only one who can remove this setting now?
I know its kind of a old post

I know a sure shot to fix it
But you must have a ford factory installed keyless auto start.
If you use you auto start. It will automatically start thinking it has a admin key in it
Then just simply open your door sit down but dont hit the break or put your key in the ignition at all
Go through yoyr menus and find the clear all mykeys functions .
Done put key in and drive safe

Very very important do not put the key in the ignition until you clear all mykeys prigramed or it will program your auto start as a my key than your screwed up again
you use you auto start. It will automatically start thinking it has a admin key in it
Then just simply open your door sit down but dont hit the break or put your key in the ignition at all
Go through yoyr menus and find the clear all mykeys functions .
Done put key in and drive safe

I have 1 key and program ut to be my key ever time my son drives my truck than use the ford automatic start then turn it off again

I k,ow its a bit old and my reply is late but it works only if you have a ford factory installed keyless auto start.

I have an 2011 F150 that I bought almost 2 years ago. I have one (1) key and do NOT have the Ford factory auto start. How do I turn off the "My Key"? It is so frustrating to have it on. Here in Wyoming speed limit is 80 and I would like to be able to drive that or more. Any info or website that I can be directed to would be appreciated and welcome.

Without an admin key, your options are:
A. Take it to a dealer and have them reprogram it (and get another key while you're there).
or
B. Get an OBDII adapter to use with a Windows laptop or tablet, download the free Forscan program with free extended license, and then reprogram it yourself. Of course, buy a new key, have it cut, and reprogram it yourself using the same setup.
Search Keywords "MyKey" and "Forscan".
A. Take it to a dealer and have them reprogram it (and get another key while you're there).

B. Get an OBDII adapter to use with a Windows laptop or tablet, download the free Forscan program with free extended license, and then reprogram it yourself. Of course, buy a new key, have it cut, and reprogram it yourself using the same setup.

Add option C! I found a way to clear MyKeys with an app and the old ELM v1.5 firmware bluetooth OBDII. I have a video that outlines the instructions for using this system to clear the MyKey. Here's the link:

David Strange - how can i clear the Mykey function with only one key. i have the Forscan program but don't have a clue as to what code to put in to change the settings does anyone know the codes for a 2015 f150 crew cab XLT

Maybe I'm reading the wrong manual, but it seems pretty clear to me.
Clear MyKey™
To reset all MyKeys™ as admin keys do the following:
For standard message center:
1. Turn the vehicle on using the admin key.
2. Press SETUP until PRESS RESET TO CLEAR MYKEY is displayed.
3. Press and release the RESET button. HOLD RESET TO CONFIRM CLEAR is displayed.
4. Press and hold the RESET button for two seconds until ALL MYKEYS CLEARED is displayed.
For optional message center:
1. At the main menu screen select SETTING then MYKEY by pressing OK or the right arrow key.
2. Press the down arrow key to get to CLEAR MYKEYS.
3. Hold OK until you see ALL MYKEYS CLEARED.

While trying to setup a new key, ended up changing both admin keys to my keys.
