I have a 1993 F250 with 5.8L EFI speed density. I have just replaced the stock intake and replaced the entire stock exhaust with a true dual setup. Do I need to reset the computer or does that just apply to mass air systems? Thanks in advance.
Disconnect the battery for about a 1/2 hour and reconnect it. It might run funny for 10 minutes or so but that'll reset everything and you'll be good to go.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:

Thats it for now, saving for a stang. Check out my Gallery for a look-see.
I thought that trick only worked with MAF. Since our SD setups don't read actual air flow it wouldn't do any good. That is why you have to have custom chips burned for SD every time you do a mod. Which is also why every one wants to get those $1000 MAF conversion kits.
