Reverse trouble

Y'all got me thru my last problem and thanks again. Here's another. When in reverse my truck just shakes and shudders. I have to ease the clutch out and go real easy on the throttle peddle. What gives?

It's been a while, but I suspect it's the old clutch.

I don't the age of the clutch. I bought the truck from a used car dealer 6 weeks ago. It feels ok though. It doesn't slip at all.

Is it possible for a pressure plate to put to much pressure on a clutch plate? Probably a dumb question but just wondering.
