I used POR 15 and started brushing it on as suggested but I didn't want to take forever so my painter put a larger tip in his gun and sprayed it on. It faded a lot in the sun so I plan on spraying some clear on it.
you cant spray clear on POR. It needed to be top coated with special primer and paint while it was still curing. POR is not UV stable and will chalk. About the only thing that will stick to it is more POR and a new top coat.
this frame is a 66 F100 4x4 and I will be putting the original body and 352 engine back in as soon as all the body work is done. It was close to being done but all of the body was in a garage when it burned down.
