Hmmm... part of me would like to try a sample and part of me wouldn't. I've always done 5K on dino since my Dad had it back at 60K and the longest either of us have gone past is 8K and that was only twice. I'm really contemplating either going full Rotella T6 or Rotella T6 during the winter and Dello during the summer. I don't know, yet...

I used to use Rotella syn all the time and my oil tests kept coming back saying the oil was sheared down. In other words, not 5/40 anymore, more like 5/30. I read somewhere and Joey also mentioned it that the 7000 will not shear down as fast with these hpop's. The 7000 is not a full syn like the 9000. Same price so I switched. I'm just lucky to have a dealer near here, I wouldn't want to order $250 + to get some.

Is there a reason you want to switch from dino and why knot use Dello all the time especially since it been working for you. Also what is the difference between " full Rotella T6 or Rotella T6 "? I think I am going to switch to dello its on sale at costco for $7 off right now, I have heard that quite a few recommend dello.

I also use their auto trans fluid, I feel that if BTS uses it and guarantee's the trans with it then its good for me! Ya, I like it so far.
Glenn, your getting a hell of a deal for $18, Last time I looked the T6 full synthetic was $22 at Walmart. I called Dale at tymar, he is a dealer here for Schaeffer's and said that's less than he gets it for.

I was thinking about getting some more before my trip, maybe I will for sure before they jack the price. I do have to buy a case of six gallons at a time to get it for $18.

Full... my bad. I meant 100% of the time running Rotella. I actually have always used Castrol because that's what I could get my hands on and that's also what my Dad has stocked at his shop. He's a general contractor and they're big enough to where they buy the oil in drums because they go through it so much. It's convenient and it's there, but I won't always have access to it. So yeah, debating whether I'd do synthetic all the time, or only during the winter. I know if I ran dino, I'd do Dello... just kinda thinking.
