Front Spring Question

I found someone selling a set of 2 1/2" front drop springs. They are advertised to fit 48-56, but the one's I can find (Sacramento Ford) show different one's for 48-52 and 53-56.

He said they came off of a 53, so I am wondering if they will fit on my 50.

Any idea if they are interchangeable between the series or not?

Also, can someone give me a measurement on how far between the front spring bump stop and top of the spring pack? Mine is at 3" right now.

Thanks Jim. It is a good price, but would just be big paperweights if they don't fit.

I could be wrong, but my recollection is that F-100 springs ('53+) are a half inch wider than Bonus Builts'.

Everything I have a reference for shows different front springs for F-1 and F-100. If the seller says they're from a '53, it's doubtful they'll work on a '50. Personally, I'd pass.
