Tie Rods

i need new tie rods.

i found raybestos professional grade on rock auto.

they list right inner(drag link), right outer, & left outer. those are available in both 4x4 version or RWD version. the thing though is they only list the left inner tie rod as 4x4 and no option for RWD.

so is the left inner tie rod the same for 4x4 and RWD?

It's their. I was just looking at this. It can be a mess on rockauto sometimes. Also type in raybestos at the top to get all the other junk out of the way. If you still can't find it go on raybestos and get the part number and paste it in.

i typed in raybestos in the search bar and did find the left inner tie rod.

for all of the tie rods from rock auto it would be $259.00 shipped to my door. i paid $400 from car quest. i really want to see if they will refund them and then i would get them from rock auto.

so i went to car quest today after school. they said they could not match rockauto.com b/c cc's prices are set and not adjustable at the store level. but since i have been in there so much especially last spring while i was in high school, they tried writing the tie rods up as a parts order for the school. turns out with the school cost i got all the tie rods for $260.48!!! ra.com would have been $259.00 shipped to my door.

savings of $130!!!!!!

Good thinking to use the school account. I worked in auto parts store for several years while working my way through college. There are definitely different prices for the same parts, and using a high volume customer account, but paying cash, can get for less cost.

When I have time, I will order the parts form Rock Auto and have had good luck with them so far.
