I need help. Injectors sound like bad valves .... So lost

I've got a awesome one for y'all need all the help I can get ..... 2001 7.3 I had the intake up fall apart in the tank and cause havoc with fuel system ... Now after number 6 injector has been replace along with a couple fuel filters and the tank droped and cleaned and shower head pick replaced I'm still fighting with this issue btw I have no codes other then a few body codes I'm going crazy on this one .....Help lol ... The truck has a random bobble more noticeable after a acceleration while at idle ... It comes and goes almost sounds like valves but it comes and goes I think it's fuel related ... When the truck first starts up cold not really all that noticeable but after driving around a few miles truck bobbles and misses and shows a loss of power ..... What am I missing ???????

Did you take apart the mixing chamber (white plastic thing on the fuel pick up in the tank) and clean the 2 screens inside there? Low fuel pressure can cause all sorts of rattles and knocks that sound mechanical. The best bet would be to plumb in a fuel pressure gauge and monitor pressure while driving. There are 2 ports on the back of the fuel bowl you can use to hook up a gauge.

Fuel pressure and air in the system. Do the FRX mod and see if that helps. It makes it much quiter. With 280K miles you could just have bad injectors or two. I've also read on here about pulling injectors and checking o-rings. There's been one or two on here that caught this by accident, changed o-rings and problem solved.

I think your pump is on its way out. Mine did the same thing. Drain your fuel bowl and then turn your key on but dont start and see how long your fuel bowl takes to fill back up. It should only. take a couple seconds. Also ck ur UVCH 9 pin connector.

Glad you found the problem. Now the fun part of dropping the tank or pulling the bed. If you drop the tank try and get a second person, it will be a 100 times easier.
