A technical marvel from my area. Light bulb that is on constantly for over 110 years. Can you imagine all the billions of $$$ we spend in those 110 years buying short lived light bulbs?

Definitely, I finally discovered this year that there is a difference in AA batteries, basically high use for digital camera, video camera, wii remotes.............we can't win if something is cheap but runs on batteries, that's why it is cheap, batteries over the lifetime are expensive
