352 help

Hey I'm trying to find a 352 I can put into my 66 f100 that will bolt up to my cruise o matic....so I found a 352 out of a 67 ford truck w/4 speed manual and was wondering if that will work for a simple install.
Thankyou
Aaron

As long as the 352 is from a 1965/67 Passenger Car or F100/350, it will bolt right in.

1958/64 FE engines were only installed in cars, have a different engine block bolt pattern for the mounts than 1965/76 FE engines.

Not only that, 1958/64 FE's also have rounded valve covers with no holes in them for oil cap/smog valve and have an engine oil fill tube that protrudes from the right (passenger) side of the 1958/64 only intake manifold.

1965/76 FE engines have pent roof shaped valve covers, with holes in them for the smog valve, oil cap. There is no oil fill tube

You could also use a 1965/71 390 Passenger Car, 1968/76 360 or 390 from an F100/350. These will be a lot easier to find than a 1965/67 352.

am, One other thing the engine used with the manual shift will have a pilot bushing or bearing in the end of the crank shaft. I know this has to be removed to use with a C6, not certain about the C-O-M.

Hopefully someone can verify.
