cool. i hope u have a tuner to go wif it so u can program ur engine without the egr valve now.

if u still have ur egr valve, even though it may not be in the original spot / housing anymore, please remember to keep it plugged in to the wiring harness still, cos ur radiator fan will not turn if it aint plugged in.

I didnt get a Big seat of the pants diffrence with the egr deleate but it probably did gain some power

But did GAIN MPG like 2mpg since Im not recycling Spent Exhaust Gasses back into the cylinders

Plus the intake manafold and sensors in it stay clean and not getting gummed up with Soot and obviously the risk of EGR Cooler Failure is gone as well as the risk of a Blown HeadGaskets from the overpressurizing of cylinders with a Blown EGR Cooler

I really dont understand why we need EGR Systems on vehicles. I see how it works to reduce emmisions but a smaller engine Displacement would have the same affect IMO.
A Catalitic converter makes more sense to me than a EGR System the cat cleans it up

the egr system just robs it of power what good is spent gas going back into the cylinder

That's an interesting point, I wonder if the epa ever weighed the MPG loss against the emissions gain. My thought is that it about equals out in the end wouldn't it?

Thats kinda how I see it too equalls out in end so an EGR System seems Pointless to me
with an egr system you burn more fuel/Natual Resource and the price for the owner is Higher to operate

It seems obvious to me how an EGR System reduces emission output but you have to burn more Fuel to make up for it so reduced emmissions comes at a price this way

To me an EGR System Defeats the final objective almost like a Detune of the truck you could unplug an injector and get reduced Emisions but MPG would suffer

No matter what way I try to make an EGR System in my head work its counter productive

A Cat makes more sense to me especialy the newer High Flow ones
