I own a 06 f250 6.0l diesel 4x4 Supercab. Last week i started my truck and when i turned on the headlights the dashboard pasenger blinker light was on(not blinking). And my windsheid wiper motor was pumpimg fluid and i couldnt get it to stop. So i asumed the bulb was bad.
The wiper fluid continued until all the fluid was gone. I pulled over and the passenger headlight was not working. I replaced it with new lights still not working. Has anyone experienced the same problem?
The passenger headlamp, turn signal and washer pump all share a common ground at the passenger inner fender. I would start there, possible bad contact or loose. There should be two grounds on the fender, the diagram shows it to be the one towards the firewall.
Speicher thank you for the info! The weather hasnt been ideal the last few days so i havent been able to check the common ground.
However, if there is a bad ground wouldnt that stop the wiper fluid pump from working at all cuz the circuit is broken? Anyway i really appreciate all your help!
Unfortunately my access is not open to the public and copyrighted. I did however go to Autozone.com and looked at the diagrams. I could not find the 2006 model, however the 2007 appears to be accurate, however they only list autolamps. If you go to autozone and register the diagrams are free. The other option is to subscribe with All Data, they should have all the service manuals you would need. Alot of commercial accounts use this program.
You were right the ground needed to be tightened. However i dont have any high beems. Could that have anything to do with the multifuntion switch? When i switch to high beems both lights go out completely (nothing). Or could it be something else?
