FE Motor Mounts

I want to pull the FE 360 from my '74 F350. For the rebuild I was intending to replace the motor mounts as I haven't a clue if they are good or bad other than they are still holding the engine in the truck. I am struggling to find a set of new motor mounts to replace them with.

Who makes them? Any help with Ford or after market part numbers would be super helpful. Would prefer stock Ford parts but will take what I can find. Don't really want to get any from the junk yards

if you end up with autozone ones , do yourself a favor and put a couple bolts thru the mount with a big washer on each end . this will give them some movement but keep them from breaking as they are hecho in china

LH
D4TZ-6038-A

I found two suppliers that have both
Green Sales, Cincinnati, OH has 8 RH and 4 LH (800) 543-4959
The other is Bob Allen in Overland Park, KS. I don't usually recommend going to them because they have a reputation as rip offs pricewise on obsolete parts.
There are several other dealers and suppliers that have one or the other, let me know if you want more names.
Just so you know, Last list RH $53.65, dealer cost $36.32
LH last list $80.40, dealer cost $50.60

Thanks so much. Just what I was looking for. Appreciate you taking the time to look them up!

I am surprised that RH and LH mounts both are part number 6038 with different prefixes. Can you confirm?

Dan

I double checked the numbers and both sides are 6038, I would expect the LH to be 6039 but they aren't.
However, when I double checked I realized I did make a mistake. It concerns the s/n.
C7TZ-6038-H RH BEFORE s/n U40,001
C7TZ-6038-J LH

For trucks AFTER s/n U40,001
D4TZ-6038-A RH & LH

I checked and Green Sales also has 1 of the C7TZ-6038-J mounts. There are four others available from different suppliers but it looks like Green Sales is the only one that has all of them.
Here is the page from the Ford parts catalog showing the mount p/n's.
Click on the .pdf link to view.

Thanks again. The page is worth 1000 words. I do believe you got the S/N right the first time. It doesn't show 40,001 but 00,001 when I look at it.

You're right, it's U00,001....let's see how many other ways I can be wrong.
Before that number it'll take one each of the "C7" numbers, from that serial number it'll take two of the "D4" number.

FWIW: I found this on Autofab today: "65-77 1/2 Ford F250/350 4WD truck 390 motor mounts"

I don't need them, and I don't have them in my rig. Just offering alternatives for future and fellow Highboy owners.
