FE Motor Mounts
I'm finally about ready to drop my 410 into my '74 Hi-Boy, and got messed up on the motor mounts. I recently replaced the originals with a pair of Indian-made, and they have no markings on them, and I lost track of which way they mounted when I took them off the 390?!? There is a little "nub" on the motor-mount side of both mounts, does this do UP or DOWN? I think I have the right and left sorted out, but if there is a trick there I'd like to hear about it too. The stock perches have a 'V' in them for the motor mount stud to fit into. I THINK the nub goes at the top of the 'V' Otherwise I think the nub would raise the mount off the perch.
